What you heard when Gracie did the splits was propbably the "greyhound scream of death". It can be mightily alarming. Problem is, some of them seem to do this for things from a bug bite to really serious hurts.
Love your story about Gracie. Look forward to seeing her progress.

Standardbreds CAN! What a fantastic horse! I too have a very special standy friend and love him to bits! He helps me remember who I am, when I get lost!!

we have a standy mare at home that we use for polocrosse practice in the paddock. she's a trouper and we love her.

met cam today and im in LOVE !!!! only wish i'd discovered this this breed a LONG time ago, being a little older i need a ittle more sensible and am shore i have found what i,ve been looking for lovely nature and stunning looking horses HOW WRONG HAVE WE BEEN!!!!!!!!
